James Hayward is the Lead Structural Draftsman and Drawing Office Manager at LWT Structural.

With 20 years of experience, James commands the senior position at the head of the drawing table. A position he has held across a large number of varied key projects. His tenure working with Alex, Martin and David is long-standing and continues at LWT Structural bringing continuity in efficient working systems and collaborative processes.

Interpreting client vision and structural engineering design solutions to procuring detailed high quality structural documentation is James’ responsibility. He manages the draughting team, develops & implements efficiencies and monitors quality assurance.

His managerial responsibility also extends to the home environment where, along with his personal labourer/wife, James has completed a number of DIY projects. They also love the family road trips with the kids & weekly indoor netball league
